GeoID™

GeoID is DataGrid's software suit used to handle and process raw GPS data from the DataGrid L1 and L1/L2 receivers.  Raw data from other receivers using the RINEX standard can also be imported /exported. The raw data can be post-processed using the built-in static/kinematic baseline processor to generate position data in standalone, code phase and carrier phase modes.  The output coordinates in Earth Centered Earth fixed system, WGS84 datum and user defined datum are saved in a text file alongside any annotations and marks.  If in standalone mode, only the unit coordinates are output alongside the annotations.  If in code or carrier phase, the base coordinates and the baseline distance is also output. The optional Visualization of the data and high precision Datum transformations are best done in the GeoMapper option.

The GeoID™ is suited to manage data collected using DataGrid GPS surveyors and data collectors.  It also can convert the DataGrid binary GPS data for import and export in the Receiver Independent Exchange (RINEX) format.  The GeoID™ also allows the user to have a list of known base locations for use in post-processing.

Computing Platform: The GeoID™ Software operates on the Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista operating systems. 900 MHz, 256 MByte RAM or higher.
