Application Centers

DataGrid  has developed a set of key hardware and software products that it can customize and combine in packages to provide turn key end-user solutions for surveying, GIS, and many related applications. DataGrid has also established a set of Application Centers to help develop and support products tailored to customer needs, support the development of business opportunities, provide equipment/procedure, demonstrations, training on DG equipment and broader scope training in surveying, land management, GIS, etc... Application Centers are intended to serve the users in the area by facilitating user forums and continued training/education. They will also support larger projects in need of hardware/software customization and facilitate the development of “turn-key” packages often serving as liaisons to DG developers located elsewhere. The goal is to also provide services such a national resource management support through solutions development and supervision or by performing some of the management functions. Centers established to date besides our main office in Gainesville, Florida are the DataGrid Africa Center in Uganda and the DataGrid EU Center in Sweden. Centers will, when possible and at its discretion, use its resources to support any activity deemed to be of benefit to the community. Centers operate in collaboration with dealers toward its vision.
